Higher Grounds Roasters

Higher Ground Roasters supports a coffee industry that is devoted to equality and sustainability.

January 3, 2008 —

Higher Grounds Roasters guarantees that its coffee is grown naturally without using chemicals and fertilizers and under forest canopy that allows farmers to preserve forests and natural habitats. And because the company only roasts Fair Trade, their coffee comes from family farms and cooperatives. In order to stay true to its ideals and goals, Higher Ground does not purchase from coffee from large estate or corporate farms. The company has joined 1% for the Planet, in which it commits at least 1% of sales to environmental organizations. The company also works with Renewable Choice Energy to purchase wind power credits and uses 100% recycled materials as much as possible.
