I just cleaned out my closet. I gave three sacks of stuff to the Humane Society thrift store. I'm realizing I can get by - and have less crammed closets, and happier clothes - if I pare down to a few favorite things.

small closets and used clothing

It's cheaper, less wasteful and in my opinion more fashionable. who wants to wear sweatshop garb that you'll see on three other people during the course of a day when you can have a unique article of clothing made 30 years ago? I agree about the closet thing too. If you build your wardrobe around a few simple themes it's easy to look put together without a 50-piece wardrobe.
